Profile

【Asterism Co., Ltd.】
An arts and cultural organization led by saxophonist and music producer Hiroko Yamakawa. “Asterism” means a group of stars, and the name was chosen to express the hope of becoming an organization where artists engaged in arts and culture can gather and resonate with one another. It also reflects respect for Asterism, a work by the Japanese composer Tōru Takemitsu, who left a piece bearing the same name. With music centered on classical repertoire as its core focus, the organization operates under the guiding principle of promoting cultural exchange and expanding the social value of the arts and culture.
