Profile

[Noh and Kyogen Appreciation Association]
It was established by Keizo NAGAYAMA, a Noh actor of the Kanze school, with the aim of improving his art and popularizing Nohgaku. They regularly hold workshops at 'Setagaya Nagayama Noh Stage' (completed in 2017) located in Kaminoge, Setagaya Ward.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, we held a monthly lecture, "Why don't you experience the world of Noh?," and in addition to watching the performance, we had a project where you can watch the mask costume and actually experience the chanting, and understand the details of Noh while understanding the program.
At present, the members of Katsura Kankai (Chozan Keisansha Junior High School) practice four times a month, with the title of "Let's Try!! "Yokyoku Shimai" Okei Koman-to-man" which is held for three months (twice a month) as one course, and they also hold Noh experience sessions for inbound guests.
