Contemporary Piano Showcase #3

Business Overview
The purpose of this program is to introduce the latest overseas piano pieces that are rarely performed in Japan by theme, and to commission new works by Japanese composers related to the theme and perform them again. In this third performance, entitled "Line and Labyrinth - The Prospects of British Piano Music," works by British composers: T. Ades, G. Benjamin, T. Davies, R. Saunders, J. Harvey, B. Ferneyhough and M. Finnissy were selected and Yuko Ohara, who studied in England for many years, was commissioned to write a new work. The performance is performed by Masanobu Shinoda, a composer himself who has performed many new premieres. Ko Sahara was in charge of electronic sound.
