Project Overview

Expanding on the "Jungla Rehearsal Series," which has been going on since 2023, multiple artists held rehearsals to explore what each artist is currently working on and the topics they want to delve into with the participants.
Ten groups of artists (inter/view (Mai Kuroki, Kana Sakato), Shingo Kanagawa, Shinichi Takashima, Hikaru Tsuchiya, Yuka Nakagawa, Junpei Nemoto, Mayuko Matsumoto, Shintaro Miyazaki, Masayuki Yano, Riku Yamakawa) held two rehearsals each, and observers recorded the contents of each rehearsal and sent it online. The venue was expanded not only to Jungla (Kokubunji City, Tokyo), but also to SCOOL (Mitaka City, Tokyo) and Suisei (Nakano-ku, Tokyo), and rehearsals were held to take advantage of the characteristics of each location.

【 Project Jungla 】
The artist collective was founded in 2022 by the members who made the studio "Jungla" by DIY. While based in Jungra, he is engaged in various artistic activities that take advantage of the characteristics of the place.
In 2022, he produced and presented the music/dance work "Living Room/Living Sound" in Jungra. In 2023, the "Jungra Training Series" was started. From 2023 to 24, we implemented the "Exchange Residence Project" in cooperation with other alternative spaces.
