【特定非営利活動法人中央区第九記念合唱団】
東京都認可のNPO法人で、東京都中央区の在住・在勤者を中心として、ベートーヴェンの第九の他、クラシック音楽やポップス、オペラの楽曲、合唱組曲など、様々な曲に取り組んでいる。2007年の発足以来毎年、中央区交響楽団と共にベートーヴェン作曲の交響曲第九番を演奏してきた。
地域コミュニティを活性化し、地域を盛り上げることを団の目的の一つとし、その一環として、中央区をわがまち・ふるさとと思う気持ちを歌い継ぐオリジナル合唱組曲「うたのふるさと・わがまち～地球讃歌～」を制作し、築地本願寺で2018年に初演。
