"be, not be, not be, be"
Business Overview
This project was a restart of the performance "be, not be, not be, be" organized by Hanako WADA and planned by WADA. Yoko Oike, Kotaro Ono, Mariko Ono, Tao Kurosawa, Shu Matsui, Kyle Yamada, and Hanako Wada participated as creative members, and collaborated from various viewpoints. Yoko OIKE (Usagi Stripe) wrote the script, Hideto OKITA (A) and Kyle YAMADA (Antigen Theater) assisted in directing, and Masahiro OISHI and Hanako WADA participated in the cast. The six performances were held at Suisei from February 13, 2026 to 15th, presenting a multi-layered theatrical style with themes such as actors ’ desire to play and transgender people's transition. Produced and produced by Hanako WADA, Haruhi ISHIZUKA and Mariko ONO, it was carried out in cooperation with the management and technical staff on the day.

Profile
[Hanako Wada]
Actor. After graduating from the Department of Performing Arts, Kyoto University of Art and Design, he has performed as an actor mainly in small theaters in Tokyo. On the other hand, he launched a project based on his own awareness of the problem, and has planned and hosted "LGBTQ Study Group for Actors, Playwrights, Directors and Producers" and produced works for video exhibitions. Wada creates works by outputting his sense of incongruity in society in a way that is suitable for the work and its subject.
