Business Overview

Led by the staff of the "Art Appreciation Workshop with the Visually Impaired," which has created a place for both the sighted and the blind to appreciate art together, we conducted activities to consider the "structure" of the relationship between the majority and the minority in the place of art appreciation. We created a website as a platform to disseminate information not only to people with disabilities but also to people in charge of creating viewing environments, such as museum staff, and recorded the voices of various people about their "viewing experiences" gathered through interviews and conversations.

Profile

[Art appreciation workshop with the visually impaired]
In public spaces such as art galleries and museums, we hold interactive appreciation programs between the visually impaired and the sighted. Aiming to develop programs that anyone can participate in, regardless of whether they have disabilities or not, visually impaired staff and sighted staff work together to create programs that make use of their diverse experiences.
