Sumida Mirai Artist Project Vol. 2"Sumidagawa Capriccio!"
Business Overview
This is a project in which performers from 4th grade elementary school to 3rd grade junior high school are recruited from within and outside Sumida City to create stage productions with professional artists and staff. This year, the second time, they created works based on the theme of the Sumida River, using noh plays such as Sumida River and the legend of Umewaka as well as the memories and imaginations of the participants. 18 performers, mainly from Sumida Ward but also from Chuo Ward and Chiba Prefecture, were invited from the public.
Yuya Yoshizaki, the representative of SPUTNIK, served as direction and choreography, with music by Rikio Maruyama.

A project led by dancer and choreographer Yuya Yoshizaki.
In recent years, she has been working to connect children with local communities through art. She has worked with local musicians and professional dancers in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, Akiba Ward, Niigata City, and Tenryu Ward, Hamamatsu City.
