Mao Nakazato Flamenco Recital "Hacia Adelante II- Swaying Compass of the Heart"

Business Overview
Second solo recital series by young dancer and singer Nakazato Mao. With the theme of "The compass of the swaying heart," the film pursues a stage in which he confronts his own struggles living in modern Japan, while at the same time drawing on Spanish tradition.
Guitarist Antonio Malena Iho opened with a festive song with a modern arrangement, performing a total of 6 songs with a mixture of tradition and innovation, such as "Huracán de Sueños," a reimagining of a Palita song in 12 time, "Adoro," a rendition of a Latin classic, and "Sigirija," the most important piece based on the music of the great singer Rocio Fullard.
The cast includes Diego Gomez (singing) and Mikoto Ogi (percussion), with Koki Sato as choreographer. He tried to express his earnest feelings by playing “words and sounds that are not in his blood ” with his voice and body. Singing, dancing and music were combined into a trinity, and this performance, which depicted the inner journey, was an opportunity to present the possibilities of flamenco for the next generation.
