Profile

[Italian Society for the Promotion of Contemporary Art]
The group was established in January 2024. President Yoichi Sugiyama teaches at the Claudio Abado Conservatory in Milan, where he provides many opportunities for students to directly interact with outstanding Italian musicians and learn from them, with the aim of fostering a long-term cultural foundation. In November 2024, he invited Mr. S. Charino, who had just received acclaim for his performance of Lohengrin in Japanese, to Japan and led a successful workshop, lecture and concert at the Italian Cultural Center. The aim is to contribute to the exchange between the two countries by continuously introducing contemporary Italian music, as well as dance and art to Japan.
