Tokyo Gekoto Kenmonroku

Business Overview
Piano recital by composer and pianist Sato Nobuki. This performance introduces the latest trends in piano works created by composers with Asian roots over a 10 year period from 2015 to 2025. Korean pianist Hyun-Moku Lin and violinist Miwa Hirai will be invited as guests.
Piano works, a form of Western music with a history of 300 years, flowed into the East. For Nobuteru Sato, who moved from Shanghai, China, to Tokyo, Japan, and lived there for about 10 years, this period coincided with changes in contemporary piano music in Asia. In this recital, I will attempt to present the gentle tide and touch of the contemporary scene from 2015 to 2025, using Sato's own experiences and memories as a clue, while using the time axis of 10 years as one axis.
