Profile
【JAZZ ART Executive Committee 】
In April 2019, the main artists and production staff established JAZZ ART SEN GAWA to take over the management of JAZZ ART SEN GAWA which has been held every year since 2008 as a project of Chofu City SEN GAWA Theater. In close cooperation with the residents of Chofu City and the Sengawa area, the festival is held every year with the aim of conveying the appeal of improvisation to a wide range of people and expanding it into new areas by inviting many artists active at the forefront in Japan and overseas. Six artists, including Kouichi MAKIGAMI, who is an active musician, serve as producers and curators, and play a central role in planning the project.
