Business Overview

The Hirafumaru and Tamuramaru connected Hokkaido and Honshu as Seikan ferry. A piano and eight singers weave together the story of ships that were caught up in the two great wars of the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods and questioned their mission.

[Opera Theater Konnyakuza]
Opera Theater Konnyakuza was founded in 1971 with the aim of [creating and popularizing new Japanese opera]. Composer Lin Guang (1931-2012) has been music director and troupe composer since 1975 and artistic director since 1997. At present, with Hagi Kyoko as its representative and music director, it has about 40 singers and performs about 200 performances a year.
