Forgetting Home/Making Souvenirs

Business Overview
In this project, we conducted a workshop to use photography as an act to "forget well" rather than to "remember". Participants take photos of things they are most likely to forget in their daily lives and create keychain shaped souvenirs. The purpose of this program is to consider forgetting and how memories are handled through photography and production.
The workshop included lectures on the act of taking photos, the etymology of the word "souvenir," and the sharing of photos among the participants. By combining filming, production, and dialogue, it became a place to empirically examine the relationship between memory and forgetting.
