Business Overview

April 2026 marks the third anniversary of the death of the house theater, which was used for 6 years as a place for creative works in a 90 year-old house in Senju, Adachi Ward, Tokyo. The program focused on dance performances in Kitasenju, based on the concept of exploring regional and artistic activities that can be continued even after the houses are gone, while preserving and passing on what happened at the house theater. In this performance, the organizer Ayano Ogata acted as the producer and main dancer, and together with the choreographer Yuko Nishina, they performed a re-created dance performance called "The Living Room Melting in the Wind." Also, in analogy to Buddhist memorial services held in front of graves in southern regions, the former site of the house theater is regarded as a grave marker, and a picnic format is adopted in which visitors can enjoy the performance freely while eating a lunch box in the nearby park. We continued to create opportunities for people to think not only about the house theater but also about "creating a place," "preserving a place," and "working in a specific area" while appreciating art.
