1st Daphnia Swimming Meet



Business Overview
The Daphnia Swimming Project, which examines anthropocentric values and examines the relationship with diverse life, is an attempt to create a new sport by imitating and reinterpreting the swimming of microbial daphnia in the human body. In this project, the official competition "1st Daphnia Swimming Competition" was held, and an archival solo exhibition was held to open the entire scope of the activities.

Profile
[Hiroki Matsumura]
Born in Tokyo in 1997. Former Japan fin-swimming representative. He has been a member of metaPhorest since 2020, and has been developing art projects on the themes of ecosystems and life phenomena. From the intersection of the body, technology, and nature, we aim to reconstruct the boundary between humans and ecosystems and expand our perspectives.
