Business Overview
This project was held with the aim of expanding the repertoire of mandolin guitars by featuring works by Japanese at the beginning of the 20 century and works from the 2000s onwards, and presenting the footprints of acceptance of Western culture in Japan in the past, and questioning the future of mandolin and guitar.

Profile
Takumi Mamiya
Born in Suginami, Tokyo in 1993. He won first prize in the solo section of the 10 th ARTE International Mandolin Competition, first prize in the 25 th Japan Mandolin Solo Competition, and third prize in the 18 th OSAKA International Music Competition SectionⅡ Folk Instruments.
He actively introduces and premieres contemporary works that include the mandolin, and at concerts he explores new possibilities for expression of the mandolin through explanations and program structures from his own perspective.
He studied mandolin under Tadashi Aoyama,Michiko Kataoka,Go Mochizuki, and Takaaki Shibata. He studied harmonization under Ippo Tsuboi.
