2026: Journey Through Oshirasama
Business Overview
東北地方に伝わる「オシラサマ」は、「人形劇の原初的な姿」とも言われるヒトガタを用いた民間信仰である。本事業「偶戯を巡る2026／オシラサマを巡る旅」は、世田谷美術館と協働し、現地取材をもとに「オシラサマ」を現代の人形劇・演劇の実演家の視点から再考し、展示・パフォーマンス・オープンラボの三部構成で成果発表を行った。

※オシラサマ信仰の取材を通して人形劇・上演のルーツを探るプロジェクトであることから、このパフォーマンスでは、アーティストがオシラサマを模した人形を製作し、実際に動かすことを試みています。神体であるオシラサマの実物は登場しません。

Profile
[Circling the Gi]
'Even' means hitogata and dolls, and 'gi' means play and drama. This project is a series of interviews, reports, and creative performances about the “guugi ” (puppets), an act in which people create puppets, manipulate them, and show them to others. Starting from playing with dolls in children's rooms, NAGAI Nozomi, a puppeteer and puppet artist, continues his journey with the idea of "a friend or doll that reflects human life," and Fujiwara Kana, a playwright and director, who continues to think about and practice the function of in various places, began their activities in 2024.
