Business Overview
Through Kagurazaka Odori, we aim to preserve, maintain, and develop traditional performing arts such as classical Japanese dance, Kiyomoto, nagauta, Tokiwazu, and narimono. The traditional Japanese dance of Kagurazaka belongs to the Hanayagi school, and 18 geisha currently belong to the school are practicing under mainly 8 instructors. Kagurazaka Odori is a venue for performers to present their arts to the general public, and was designated a Regional Cultural Property by Shinjuku Ward in 2011.

[Association Tokyo Kagurazaka Kumiai]
There are many shrines and temples in the Kagurazaka area, including Bishamonten, and since the early Meiji period, it has flourished as the world of the geisha. In 1973, the organization was reorganized from Ushigome Sangyo-kai, the predecessor of our union, to 'Tokyo Kagurazaka Kumiai,' which consists of a geisha association and a restaurant association, and continues to this day. At present, it is composed of 4 members of the Ryotei Association and 18 members of the Geisha Association.
