Profile

【WASEDA HOSHIEN 】
Waseda Hoshoen is a public interest incorporated foundation that originated from a student dormitory built by an American missionary in 1908 at the request of Shigenobu Okuma, the founder of Waseda University. Based on the Christian spirit, it has a history of more than 100 years as a place to develop human resources with an international perspective and coexist with others. Through the management of facilities such as "Scott Hall," a historic building selected by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and the management of an international school dormitory where many young people from Japan and overseas gather every year, the school has developed a variety of international understanding, citizen lectures, and cultural exchange programs open to the local community.
