Profile
【 General Incorporated Association Nakafura 】
The general incorporated association Nakafura is an organization that manages the activities of Nakano Seiki + Frankens (theater company).
In the genre of theater, in which forms of activity and forms of expression have been expanding infinitely since the beginning of history, it was established in order to release "various experiments" to the world with as light a step as possible, not to be blindly involved in big things, to be small with a will, and not to be self-righteous in society.
In his creative works, he mainly focused on so-called "translation plays" in which the period, culture and customs are very different from those of modern Japan, and he understood and embodied them with his "current values and body." The method and expression of the translation without being bound by the verbatim translation, the free composition that adheres to only the synopsis, the interpretation of the work as our own story without being bound by the conventional image and manner, and the creation of the work are named "Gairenyaku."
