Heteroscheme
Business Overview
This project is a group exhibition "Heteroscheme" by four artists based on sound and music. As a practice of reinterpreting everyday actions and events through sound, Chihiro Igarashi exhibited a video work that likened everyday objects to musical instruments, Yuri Shimazu exhibited a game work using unpredictable controllers, Yudai Hishihashi exhibited a video installation connecting musical scores and match-fixing acts, and Shinnosuke Moriuchi exhibited a video work using three-dimensional sound. During the conference, we held a talk event with Tomohito WAKUI as a guest speaker, and asked Tomoya MATSUURA to write a review. This exhibition is an attempt to reconsider how each artist can shape future time in different areas and scales using sound.

Profile
Yudai HISHIBASHI
Born in 2004 in Nagoya. He is a four-year student at the Department of Music and Environment Creation, Tokyo University of the Arts.
Moving back and forth between different media such as contemporary music, sound, video, stage, and installation, he is practicing to reveal the systems, institutions, and physicality that are difficult to visualize behind the act of making sound or performing music.
He also founded a contemporary music collective, "Recursive Father," which produces and performs theater works that transcend the boundaries of performers and composers.
