Majigeki 2026 ~ I'm seriously giving you a present! Performing with High School Students
Business Overview
In this project, 16 high school students from the Tama area created and performed an original work, "The Beginning of the Chinese Zodiac," together with actors.
From July 17 to 20th, rehearsals, creative writing and exchange with accommodation, public production, performance and round-table discussion were held.
On July 20, they gave a free performance at Yamato Den Honen, a daycare center where children regularly attend.
58 people attended the performance and 18 people attended the public program. It was an opportunity for high school students to create roles and work together to bring the appeal of theater to children and their parents in their local communities.
