Mozart with the Historic Bassethorn: "6 Divertimentes" KV439b Concert for the Complete Music ― The Playfulness of Mozart Hidden in the Original ―

Business Overview
The purpose of this project is to discover the charm of W.A. Mozart "Divertimento KV439 b" anew and share with the audience the freshness of the original composition. For this purpose, he performed a total of 30 movements including 5 unknown movements by comparing and scrutinizing fragments of the score and multiple editions, which are considered to be the oldest materials of this work, using basset horns (old instruments) at the time of composition. As co-performers, the up-and-coming Minori Hayashi, who has studied extensively both in Japan and abroad, and Nahoko Mitsue, who has studied at the Royal Hague Conservatory of the Netherlands and is active internationally, tried new interpretations of the performance. The performances were held at hall60 on August 9, 2026 and at the Sonorium on 15th, and received a great response from the audience and experts for this novel attempt on historical instruments. Through this project, I was able to present a new academic and artistic perspective to the art and culture scene in Tokyo, and achieved the result of solidifying my activities as an up-and-coming artist.
