Profile

[Yukikikoku]
Yukikoku is a musical project by contrabassist Toru Nishijima, pianist Fumi Endo, and alto saxophonist Kane Aonami. Based on improvisation, they develop a unique ensemble that makes use of silence, margins, and delicate reverberations while crossing the musical backgrounds of each of the three. He pursues an expression that is not bound by a fixed genre or form, but emphasizes the sense of time and the transition between sounds.
