Ikebana and Sado Wakuwaku Introductory Course
Business Overview
A total of 10 courses of "ikebana (Sogetsu school)" and "tea ceremony (Urasenke/Rikyu old school)" were held.
For those who are new to ikebana and the tea ceremony or those who have not done it for a long time, we lowered the barrier of entry by allowing free lending of equipment and participation in Western clothing. We also accommodated a variety of lifestyles by holding events on weekends and at night.
All three classes started with the basics and classroom study of history, and gradually moved into practice. A small number of lecturers provide instruction for each level and an individual follow-up system to provide a safe learning environment for beginners and experienced students.
In ikebana, people can express themselves freely using various materials and places. In tea ceremony, people can deepen the manners of tea ceremony with guests, and enjoy seasonal events, flowers and sweets.
In addition, by setting the goal of a joint presentation of the three classes at Mukaiyama Garden, we aimed to foster a sense of accomplishment and cooperation, and to develop human resources who can enjoy themselves independently and deeply understand the works of others even after the classes are finished. The course fee is set at a low price, and the program is designed to expand the base of the traditional culture and to expand the practice.

our association was established in March 1951 with the aim of promoting local culture as well as seeking a place to play an active role in the community by various schools of ikebana and tea ceremony.
As one of the cultural organizations in Nerima Ward, it has been active mainly in Nerima Ward for more than 70 years to play a part in the promotion of local culture.
