Since FY Reiwa 4, Arts Council Tokyo has held activity report meetings for organizations that have implemented projects with the support of "Social Grant". From Reiwa 6, we have been publishing online activity reports by organizations that have completed their three-year subsidy activities with the long-term support of this grant program.
In this article, we will introduce the practice of LAND FES, a non-profit organization that has produced videos of people with various characteristics participating in dance workshops and dancing in the city, regardless of disability or age. This project was supported by the Arts Council Tokyo "Tokyo Tokyo FESTIVAL Grant" in FY Reiwa 2020 and was selected as a priority support for up to three years in Reiwa 2021 as a continuation of the project. We hope that everyone who is interested will be able to widely know about the trajectory of the activities that have been developed while deeply involved with the local people, and the awareness and changes of those who have participated in the project, and that you will be able to refer to them.

2011年より舞台芸術の新しい鑑賞方法を普及するために数々の街を舞台にしたダンスと音楽のパフォーマンス公演「LAND FES」を実施。2014年より、障害者を対象にしたダンスと音楽のワークショップを継続。障害の有無を越えて共にダンスを創る「スクランブル・ダンスプロジェクト」や、ダンスAR事業「TOKYO DANCE AR」など、社会課題やニーズに向き合いながらパフォーミングアーツの可能性を追求している。

This program supports artistic activities in which people from various social environments can participate together and demonstrate their creativity while respecting each other's individuality, as well as activities that utilize the characteristics of art and culture to address various social and urban issues. The purpose of this program is to support pioneering activities that promote the new significance of art and culture in society and the ideal way of art that is open to all people, as well as activities that steadily contribute to solving problems from a long-term perspective.
