[Applications Open] 2025 Art Management Personnel Overseas Dispatch Program 2nd | Taipei Biennale

In this project, young art management personnel who will play a role in connecting artists and society in the future will be dispatched to art festivals and other events on a short-term basis, providing an opportunity to build a network of people involved in arts and culture overseas to become the first step in international activities. In addition, through direct contact with pioneering works and creative sites overseas, we aim to foster creative momentum from an international perspective. In the future, through this project, we will deepen cooperation between Tokyo and each client, and build and strengthen networks between Tokyo and overseas sectors.

content of support

• Round-trip airfare between Japan and client (economy class)
• local accommodation expenses
• Daily allowance: 10,000 yen per day of stay in the country
• Other support includes coordination of schedules and programs at the client site, and local introductions and advice.

Overview

Approximately half of the participating artists at the Taipei Biennale are mid-career and young artists who were born after 1984. They will be dispatched on the opening day of the event, and will serve as an opportunity to network with participating artists and art professionals from around the world. In addition, they mainly visit cultural facilities in Taiwan and artists' ateliers.
