Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo has launched "Grant for Accessibility" with the aim of realizing a symbiotic society where everyone can experience art and culture together with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government from FY2024. This grant requires students to take a course to learn know-how on effective support according to disabilities, etc., and subsidizes the actual cost of expenses up to 1.5 million yen for initiatives aimed at improving accessibility for viewers and participants. In addition, in the wake of the World Athletics and Deaflympics to be held this fall, we have established a new "2025 Momentum Building Frame" with a maximum of 3 million yen in line with the campaign called "All Welcome TOKYO" from September to December, which is centered on the timing of both Games.
As part of the second round, 16 organizations will receive grants totaling 17,014,381 yen, and 20 organizations will receive grants totaling 50,844,692 yen as part of the "2025 Momentum Building Program." Please refer to the list of selected projects below for details. Applications for this subsidy will be accepted at any time, and will be terminated when the total amount decided to be granted reaches the budget.
