In fiscal 2024, the Tokyo Foundation for History and Culture, Arts Council Tokyo, together with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, started the Tokyo Arts and Culture Appreciation Support Program, aiming to realize a symbiotic society in which anyone can experience art and culture. This subsidy requires the participation in a course to learn the know-how of effective support according to disabilities, etc., and supports the actual cost of up to 1.5 million yen for efforts aimed at improving accessibility for viewers and participants. In addition, taking advantage of the World Athletics and Deaflympics to be held this autumn, we have established a new "2025 Momentum Building Fund" of up to 3 million yen to coincide with the "All Welcome Tokyo" campaign from September to December, which is centered on the timing of both events.
As part of the second round, 16 organizations will receive grants totaling 17,014,381 yen, and 20 organizations will receive grants totaling 50,844,692 yen as part of the "2025 Momentum Building Program." Please refer to the list of selected projects below for details. Applications for this subsidy will be accepted at any time, and will be terminated when the total amount decided to be granted reaches the budget.
