The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Metropolitan History and Culture Foundation Arts Council Tokyo are implementing the "Overseas Dispatch Program for Art Management Personnel" to dispatch young art management personnel, who will play a role in connecting artists and society in the future, to overseas festivals for a short period of time.
In the second open call for applications this year, applicants were invited to attend the Seoul Performing Arts Festival (SPAF), the largest international performing arts festival in South Korea, and the Taipei Biennale, one of the leading international exhibitions of contemporary art in Asia and a venue for international cultural exchange and dialogue. As a result, the following applicants were selected.
Destination 1: Seoul Performing Arts Festival
Producers, directors, technicians, etc., mainly young people involved in performing arts (Theater, dance, music, etc.)
8 applicants, 3 candidates for dispatch
Destination 2 (Taipei Biennale)
Curators, directors, art professionals, etc., mainly young people involved in the visual arts
5 applicants, 3 candidates for dispatch
