Since fiscal 2024, the Arts Council Tokyo, a public-interest foundation of the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, has worked with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to implement the Tokyo Arts and Culture Appreciation Support Grant, aiming to create a symbiotic society where everyone can experience art and culture. This subsidy requires the participation in a course to learn the know-how of effective support according to disabilities, etc., and supports the actual expenses of up to 1.5 million yen for efforts aimed at improving accessibility for viewers and participants. This fiscal year, we established a new "2025 momentum building quota" of up to 3 million yen for the "All Welcome Tokyo" campaign from September to December, including the upcoming World Championships in Athletics and the Deaflympics.
As part of the 3rd round, we have decided to grant 5.05 million yen to 2 organizations in the 2025 Momentum Building Program. Please refer to the list of selected projects below for details. Applications for this subsidy will be accepted at any time, and will be terminated when the total amount decided to be granted reaches the budget.
