Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo has launched "Grant for Accessibility" this year with the aim of realizing a symbiotic society where everyone can experience art and culture in preparation for 2025, when the World Athletics and Deaflympics will be held together with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. This grant requires students to take a course to learn know-how on effective support according to disabilities, etc., and subsidizes the actual cost of expenses up to 1.5 million yen for initiatives aimed at improving accessibility for viewers and participants.
As part of the third round, 14 organizations have been selected to receive grants totaling 13,855,562 yen. Please refer to the list of selected projects below for details.
We have received a large number of applications for this grant since the application began, and the total amount selected has reached the upper limit of the budget. The fourth selection will be announced later.
