Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo implements "Grant for Artistic City" as part of its cultural strategy to enhance the attractiveness of Tokyo's arts and culture. This grant targets innovative creative activities, festivals, and art projects with lasting and ripple effects in which multiple organizations and many artists participate in order to support more artists and staff. In addition, for the two types of support costs, actual cost support (with a maximum amount) will also be provided separately.
From a total of 93 projects that received applications during the 2nd public offering period (August 19, 2025 to September 24), a total of 21 projects (with a total grant amount of 207,355,538 yen) were selected through the screening committee. Of these, 4 grants were for digital development support and 5 grants were for creative environment support (total 10,487,538 yen).
