This is a rare opportunity to interact with artists who create paintings and installation works.

Participating Artists
Toru ISHII
He was a dyer. In 2014, he completed the Doctor of Fine Arts Program at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. While reconsidering the traditional Japanese dyeing technique of itome yuzen-zome, he will create dyed paintings with the themes of "innovation of traditional crafts," "criticality of modern art," "digital and analog," "modern ukiyo-e," "time," and "consciousness." Major solo exhibitions include Sokyo Atsumi (Tokyo/2024), Sapporo International Art Festival 2024 (Museum of Modern Art, Hokkaido/Sapporo/2024), and JAPAN: Myths to Manga (Young Victoria and Albert Museum/London/2024). His works are also stored in the University Art Museum, Tokyo University of the Arts, the Museum of Modern Art, Hokkaido, Morikami Museum (Miami), and the Victoria and Albert Museum (London).
Kotomi SATO (Kotomi SATO)
Born in 1999. He was born in Akita Prefecture. Graduated from Akita Public University of Fine Arts Graduate School of Mixed Arts. He carries out research, projects, and productions based on his original coined word "Koyogaku," which is to create a margin for shifting the perception of everyday things (things that we take for granted). His major exhibitions include a solo exhibition "Beyond the words, invalid" at BIYONG POINT/Akita, and 'The Former Symbolic Building' at Meitokukan Building/Akita.
Machidarina
Artist and filmmaker. Graduated from the Graduate School of Visual Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Putting aside the frustrating body and the fluctuations of the environment, he creates while going back and forth between videos, drawings, and installations. Major exhibitions include "Alone" sponsored by the Goethe-Institut and Roppongi Art Night 2025. He has also presented various presentations both domestically and internationally, including the main visual, exhibition, WS, curation, and collaboration with Hermès at the Festival of Animation Berlin.
Noseyui
After completing a degree in Western painting at the University of Tsukuba, he worked in the flower industry. He is interested in the shape and growth of plants, vegetation, and topography. With themes of plants, devotion, and vitality, he creates paintings using language expressions in parallel with manga. 2025: Selected for 'The 43 Ueno Royal Art Award Exhibition.'.
