Performance Kids Tokyo Recruitment of Performers

Would you like to create an original stage production with juggler and director Yosuke Meguro?
On the last day, Sunday, August 9, the announcement performance will be held at the Humming Hall, Higashiyamato Civic Hall.

What is Performance Kids Tokyo?

Professional dance, theater and music artists are sent to schools, halls and orphanages for about 10 days to hold workshops and create original stage productions starring children.

Artist

Yosuke Meguro (juggler, director)

Born in 1985. Juggler, director. He started juggling at the age of 14, and since the age of 17 he has performed at street performances, festivals, stages and live houses. In 2008, he formed 'Nagame Kurashitsu' (literally, "Long Life") and directed and composed almost all the performances. In addition to creating collective works with performers and improvising with musicians, he is exploring various forms of expression based on juggling and music. Since 2013, she has been active as a unit "Utsushiomi" with aerial artist Aimi Hasegawa. As a rare modern circus director in Japan, he also directed the international joint circus "100 year circus (2012)" and "naimono (2015)" produced by Setouchi Circus Factory.

Notes on Participation

• In principle, please participate in all the schedules.
• If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held. (*However, Performance Kids Tokyo inexperienced people will be given priority.) ）
• You must be able to attend for three days from Friday, August 7, 2026 to Sunday, August 9.
