Tokyo and Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo are implementing the 'Cultural Utilization and Promotion Project for Modern and Contemporary Residential Architecture,' which aims to widely promote the appeal of highly valuable residential buildings within Tokyo through public displays and exhibitions, thereby contributing to their preservation and inheritance.
From Wednesday, April 15, 2026 to Monday, May 11, a public call was made for organizations that understand the purpose of this project, have an interest in the preservation and maintenance of residential buildings, and are eager to make cultural use of them. As a result of screening and selection by the Co-Sponsor Selection Committee, which is composed of outside experts in the fields of architecture and culture, the following co-sponsor organizations were selected.

Future plans
In the future, we will discuss the project plan, implementation system, budget, etc. with the selected organizations, and proceed with the procedures for concluding the co-sponsorship agreement. We will announce the details of the project at a later date.
