Fundraising Seminar 2026
A course to learn basic knowledge and tips essential for acquiring funds and resources for sustainable activities.
Future financing in light of social changes
In order to continue our activities, it is essential to consider how to collect and utilize funds. In fiscal 2024, we held 2 lectures, the first and second part, on the basic concepts of fundraising and the structure of organizations that serve as the foundation for obtaining support.
Since the last lecture, the structure of society and the flow of money surrounding art and culture have changed significantly.
In this lecture, we will welcome back Mr. Keita Yamamoto, the lecturer from the previous lecture, and after reading the changes from a broad perspective, we will answer questions from the participants and deepen the way of thinking that you should have when facing fundraising now.

Approach to Corporate Mecenas
How can we expand funds and support to continue our activities? Along with crowdfunding and grants, corporate support for arts and culture is another option.
But have you ever felt "How and what should we do in cooperation with companies?" or "Why do companies support culture and the arts in the first place?"?
In this lecture, we will invite Hanako Sato, who has been involved in promoting and spreading arts and culture support by companies for many years at the Corporate Mecenat Council.
In addition to the background and mechanism of how companies engage in mecenat, and the way to think about building relationships with companies, we will give a lecture on the basic flow that you need to understand, from preparation for approaching to first contact, proposal, and building relationships after support is decided. At the same time, we will introduce other systems that can be utilized, such as a grant approval system that supports "donations" to arts and culture by the Corporate Mecenat Council.
This course provides hints for those who want to consider collaborating with companies from now on.
