A program to support young artists in the field of art and video who aim for independent and continuous activities
Focusing on the presentation of the work by the artist himself, it supports from both sides of improving the ability to talk about the work and strengthening the concept.
In addition to providing highly flexible production support funds to selected supporting artists, the project provides ongoing mentoring with selection committee members and mentors composed of diverse specialists in contemporary art, and creates opportunities to present presentations, thereby supporting young artists starting in Tokyo.

Target Artists
All the requirements listed in the following items shall be satisfied.
- Individuals who live in Japan and want to work in Tokyo
- Ability to participate in networking events, midterm briefings, mentoring leading to presentations and presentations (TAAP Live) during the support period.
- Be able to communicate in Japanese. (JL PT: N1 Equivalent)
- It has been 3 years or more but less than 10 years since they first conducted activities in Tokyo to exhibit their works (Individual exhibitions, group exhibitions, etc.) in the subject field. Or, you must have exhibited your work in Tokyo at least 5 times and no more than 10 times. However, University exhibitions shall not be included in group exhibitions.

1. Payment of production support funds
Production support funds that can be used freely for creative activities, research, exhibitions at TAAP Live, etc. (scheduled for March 2027).
2.Presentation based mentoring program
Contemporary art specialists from diverse backgrounds, including gallerists, artists, collectors, and curators, will participate in ongoing dialogue with selection committees and mentors. By repeating "Presentation ⇒ Advice ⇒ Mentoring ⇒ Presentation" around the presentation of the supporting artist, we encourage the improvement of the ability to talk about the work and strengthen the concept, and support the growth of the supporting artist. Mentoring also supports networking with people involved in arts and culture.
3.Conduct TAAP Live 2027 Outcome
TAAP Live2027 will be held in November 2027 (planned) as a venue for supporting artists to present their works to audiences including those in the field of contemporary art.
