Performance Kids Tokyo Recruitment of Performers

Would you like to create an original stage production with Selenografica of the dance company?
Artist Takahide Mizuuchi will join us for a dance and art workshop.
On the last day, Sunday, August 2, there will be a presentation performance at Nerima Culture Center small hall.

What is Performance Kids Tokyo?

Professional dance, theater and music artists are sent to schools, halls and orphanages for about 10 days to hold workshops and create original stage productions starring children.

1997年、隅地茉歩と阿比留修一によって設立。カンパニー名のセレノグラフィカとは、Selenography（月面地理学）＋icaで「月究学派」（時間や場所によって変化する月のように、一見とらえどころの無いダンスやアートを追求する者たち）の意の造語。関西を拠点に国内外、屋内外を問わず幅広く活動を展開するダンスカンパニー。多様な解釈を誘発する不思議で愉快な作風と、緻密な身体操作が持ち味。隅地茉歩（TOYOTA CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD2005「次代を担う振付家賞」［グランプリ］受賞）は「踊るぬいぐるみ」、阿比留修一（平成8年度大阪府芸術劇場奨励新人認定）は「かかとの無い男」とあだ名され、ヨーロッパ、韓国、オーストラリアなど国外でも作品を発表。近年は公演、ワークショップ、教育機関へのアウトリーチを含め、あらゆる世代の心と身体にダンスを届けるべく全国各地へ遠征を重ねている。（一財）地域創造「公共ホール現代ダンス活性化支援事業」登録アーティスト。

Notes on Participation

• In principle, please participate in all the schedules.
• If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held. (*However, Performance Kids Tokyo inexperienced people will be given priority.) ）
• The condition for participation is that you must be able to attend for 4 days from Friday, July 24, 2026 and 31st (Fri) to Sunday, August 2.
