The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo are implementing the "Overseas Study Visit Program for Arts Management Professionals" project to dispatch young art management personnel who will play a role in connecting artists and society to overseas festivals and other events for a short period of time.
In the first round of the competition this year, we called for candidates to be sent to two locations: the Sydney Biennale, Australia's largest international contemporary art exhibition, and the Netherlands Festival, one of the largest international performing arts festivals in the Netherlands, and the following results were decided.
Destination 1 (Sydney Biennale)
Curators, directors, art professionals, etc., mainly young people in the visual arts
18 applicants, 3 candidates for dispatch
Destination 2: Dutch Festival
Producers, directors, technicians, etc., mainly young people involved in performing arts (Theater, dance, music, etc.)
43 applicants, 3 candidates for dispatch
