The 16 th Gwangju Biennale in Seoul

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo are implementing the "Overseas Study Visit Program for Arts Management Professionals" project to dispatch young art management personnel who will play a role in connecting artists and society to overseas festivals and other events for a short period of time.

In FY 2026, the 2nd program will be the Gwangju Biennale (Korea), one of Asia's leading international contemporary art exhibitions. The artistic director will be Ho Tu Nghien, who will draw attention for the first time as an artist. We also plan to visit Kiaf SEOUL and Frieze Seoul, which are major art fairs in Seoul around the same time. We look forward to receiving applications from young art managers who aspire to expand their business internationally.

(We plan to dispatch to all 7 regions in FY 2026.)
