Outline

Ayano Yokoyama has performed “Suiyoubaion,” a work which garnered her the Jury Prize and Porosus Endowment Fund – Camping 2020 Prize at Yokohama Dance Collection Ⅰ, at Europe’s largest dance festival “Spring Forward.” In addition, as part of the Aerowaves×YDC×KIAC exchange program, Yokoyama did a two-week residency in Athens, Greece to put the finishing touches to the work. It was the first time for Yokoyama, who won accolades at Yokohama Dance Collection – considered the gateway to success for young dance artists – to give a solo performance overseas as herself. The work was performed at the festival opening, garnering plenty of attention.
