In collaboration with Catherine Val, a contemporary artist based in Germany and active in Europe, the project “Story Room” was conducted to connect individual stories to social stories. In this project, the artist and university students from China, Korea and Malaysia who resonate with the question “What does it mean to live as a woman in today’s society?” The two exhibitions included a self-portrait series in which the artist herself played the role of a female philosopher from the past and present, and a series of photographs taken during the artist’s stay in Hong Kong. In addition, workshops focusing on food, clothing and shelter were held at the first exhibition, while yoga workshops, talks with visitors and photo sessions were held at the second exhibition. A MANIFESTO WORKSHOP was also held on 2nd of March between the exhibitions, with a photo session in the kitchen on the subject of the participants’ cherished words and philosophies.

With the theme of ‘Crush border, Open air’, the collective connects all kinds of boundaries as an intersection between society and art.
It was established in December 2022 by Kainuma, a student at Musashino Art University, and Takeda, a student at Nihon University College of Art, who are the managing members of the collective. It organises the talk event ‘PLAZA’, interviews and cultural and artistic projects that cross artistic genres with the aim of mediating between different positions and voices and expanding the space for soft dialogue by working across disciplines. It also performs management and coordination tasks, such as participating in the management of the TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC RESERCH project within the “TOKYO CREATIVESALON 2023”. channel collaborates with different members for each project, and is now collaborating with new members of Chinese, Korean and Malaysian nationalities.
