By examining the relationship between body, movement, action, and dance, we ask the unique movements and essence of the human body. And we find the emergence of dance.

Through these projects, diverse bodies come and go, and share their own “time” (rhythm).
Following the words “Uzumekuru” (swirling & tingling) and “Aru”(exist) , movement is born, and sometimes we take a detour into “choreography,” experiencing the moment when movement becomes dance.

Neon Sugimoto
Born in Tokyo in 1996. Contemporary dancer and choreographer. Graduated from the Department of Body Expression and Cinematic Arts, College of Contemporary Psychology, Rikkyo University, Saitama, Japan. Began rhythmic gymnastics and classical ballet at the age of 4, and discovered contemporary dance at the age of 15. She performed in works by various choreographers. Also, she performs and creates works in collaboration with other fields such as music, photography, textiles, videos, food, and so on. Aiming to weave and think with her body, she is constantly seeking “today’s dance”.
