“Ken no kai” is an independent production series by Onoe Ukon designed as an opportunity for self-improvement. The main focus of this performance was the challenge of creating a masterpiece that has never been experienced before, with Onoe playing certain roles for the first time, namely as Tamate Gozen, the protagonist of “Sesshu Gappou ga Tsuji,” and in “Renjishi” as the Spirit of the Parent Lion after playing Kyogen performer Ukon.
