Bushu Ome kumbhira Shrine (commonly known as Konpira Shrine) is not affiliated with the Shinto Shrines Association and has been the guardian deity of the village for generations. However, due to the risk of landslides after the war, the shrine was abandoned and deserted for over half a century after a hiking trail was built.
It is a historical and cultural facility that is written about in Edo documents, and was a place of refuge for our ancestors. In 2006, the movement began to restore Konpira Shrine, which was a place of refuge for our ancestors, in order to increase the vitality and strengthen the unity of local residents and to liven up the area as a tourist resource.
Now, not only local residents but also worshippers from all over the country visit the shrine, and it is regaining its lively atmosphere.
