DanceSyndrome Dance Leader Program
LAND FES invited key members of DanceSyndrome, an organization in the UK that develops community dance programs for people with disabilities ,to Tokyo in order to lead a nine-day training program. This program enabled individuals with disabilities to collaborate with dance artists in designing and facilitating workshops. By introducing DanceSyndrome’s methods, the initiative promoted social participation for people with disabilities and created opportunities to develop dance facilitators in Japan, paving the way for implementing these practices domestically.

NPO LAND FES
Since 2011, LAND FES has been organizing a series of dance and music performances set in various towns to promote new ways of appreciating performing arts. Since 2014, it has continued to offer dance and music workshops for people with disabilities. By creating inclusive dance experiences through projects like the “Scramble Dance Project,” which brings people together regardless of disabilities, and the dance AR initiative “TOKYO DANCE AR,” LAND FES explores the potential of performing arts while addressing social issues and needs.
