By experimenting with performance in a different environment from that experienced by many people who have attended as well as performed live concerts, this Wisely Brothers project was designed to harvest new emotions and atmosphere through band members riffing off each other.
To bring this project to the attention of as many people as possible, the band made an experimental improvised recording and put the CD on sale with a specially created pamphlet. The band filmed footage of the recording, which it streamed online to reach as many people as possible.
For this performance, the band chose a well-ventilated location allowing the scents and sounds of nature to come in, and where the audience could experience the changing light. The band’s use of a variety of folk instruments and familiar everyday objects as musical instruments resulted in the type of unconstrained and creative performance unique to improvisation.
