The event saw a bygone element of cultural history put into practice and assembled into an experiential event. The event has aided the creation of opportunities for economic benefits towards revitalization of the local community. The event has recreated for modern times the spirit of the Bushido samurai code and Kobudo ancient martial arts, which are based on pursuits found in the Yabusame tradition such as traditional Japanese horsemanship, archery, martial arts, and Shinto rituals. It also promoted the samurai, a symbol of Japan, not only to the Japanese but also to people overseas.
The event featured a Yabusame demonstration, Iai batto sword drawing, performances by local groups, and a pony experience.
