Outline

THE BLACK FENCE will expand “Takaido Art Festival 2024,” the second edition of the well-received Takaido Art Festival held last October, to a total of seven venues, including stores around Takaido Station, under the exhibition theme of “Reuse” and will feature 13 contemporary artists: Aya Momose, Aya Osaka, Kohei Nawa, Maki Hayashida, Nobutaka Aozaki, Rirkrit, Tiravanija, Ryan Gander, TakuroTamayama, Tomotosi, Yoshinori Niwa, Yuki Mineo, Yuko Mohri and Yusuke Asai. The exhibition will be held again this year with a larger venue and more works on display than last year, making it possible for anyone to enjoy contemporary art in a relaxed atmosphere.

【THE BLACK FENCE】
This year, we will be exhibiting works from the approximately 250 contemporary art collection owned by the Takaido-based art collector unit “THE BLACK FENCE” (Kenichi Kuroki/Yorito Masegi), as well as works from artists and art collectors, as well as public submissions. The exhibition consisted of a richly varied lineup of works and other items compared to last year.
